Baskin Robbins

Tonight was the yearly $.31 scoop night at Baskin Robbins. We look forward to the experience every year. It was quite nice this year that our total wait time was only about 15-20 minutes due to the rain coming down. Dylan, Ashley, Mike and I all got 3 scoops and Megan got 2. We all ate every bit of ice cream. Probably not something to be proud of, but it sure was good!

Family Pictures

We are lucky enough to have the opportunity to participate in a fundraiser for AMMOM and the photo shoots that they sell twice a year. They choose an outdoor location and we have a 20 minute photo shoot with the photographers. In 3 weeks we will have a CD full of all of the pictures and the rights to have them printed. YEA!!! Our shoot was at 8:40 this morning and we woke up to a dark sky and howling winds. However, the rain held off and we were able to have the shoot. Our hair was blowing everywhere, so I am not sure the pictures will be great, but we all had such a good time having them done. The location was beautiful!! I will post the professional ones when I get them, but until then here our a few that we took with our camera.

Frisco Earth Day!

Dylan and I participated in Frisco's Earth Day Celebration - Clean It & Green It! We went to the area surrounding Boals Elementary and helped clean up our city. It was a very eye-opening experience all the trash that just Dylan & I collected-WOW! It was a very neat scene looking out over the Frisco area and seeing all of the bright colored shirts cleaning the city. Thank you to all the helped this year!!

Boals Hoe Down!

What a blast! Boals Elementary traded in the Poodle Skirts this year for Cowboy Boots and we had our first good old fashion Hoe Down! I had so much fun watching the 3 kids "rope" the bulls, jump in the bounce houses and dance to the Hoe Down, Throw Down and many other songs. We ate some yummy nacho's & funnel cakes and enjoyed the time spent together! We were sad that Mike couldn't be there - he hurt his back this week. We will get him there next year though!

Mesquite Softball "Friendly" Play!

It has been awhile since I have taken pictures of Ashley on the softball field. Here are a few from her last weekend of softball. The entire team played very well all weekend. It feels good to be back out on the diamond!
