Ashley was invited to one of her friends 16th Birthday Party. The theme of the party was...White Trash!! Ashley had loads of fun dressing up for this birthday!! :)

Dylan's 13th Birthday!
WOW...we officially have 2 teenagers in our house. Dylan turned 13 on January 23rd and we celebrated with dinner and a special cake at Grandma & Grandpas. Of course we had to hit the Lego store as soon as dinner was over. :) Another highlight of turning 13 was that Dylan got to open his own checking account. He deposited birthday money in his account in order to open it. He is very excited and can not wait for his own debit card to arrive in the mail. As always, we also celebrated Grandpa's birthday. He and Dylan always share their day, but this year, we enjoyed two cakes. Boy were they good!!

1st Snow of 2011
We went to church in the rain this morning and came out to sleet that very soon turned into snow. We actually got much more snow than we were thinking we would. Megan & Dylan had fun playing outside, but Ashley stayed in to study for her exams that begin tomorrow. She is praying we have school tomorrow so it does not interfere with the exam schcedule, why the other two are hoping to stay home and play!

Polar Bear Plunge
January 1, 2011 marked the 2nd anniversary of our dear friend Scott Sullivan's passing. We miss him everyday! This year also marked the 2nd Annual Polar Bear Plunge in which we continue Scott's legacy of helping underpriveledged youth play sports by plunging into the 41 degree water in our subdivision pool. We raised over $10,000 our first year and hope to continue raising more money each year. Preliminary numbers show over 100 jumpers and about another 150+ watching today. What a huge success!!
