FBSA Pre-Season Tournament

Megan is once again playing softball. Her team changed names this year from the Lil Horns to the Devils, but the change of name did not change their performance. They went undefeated in the Pre-Season Tournament to WIN the 8U Championship. Megan played 2nd base and had some awesome outs. The entire team of girls played so well together and had an awesome time!

Good Morning Boals

Once a year each class performs a skit of a certain life skill that the kids have been working on in school. This year Megan's class performed their skit about getting along with others and being a friend. Megan was one of 4 American Idol Singers. They sang:

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine

You make me happy, when skys are grey

You'll never know friend, how much I like you

you really make my day!!

She was very nervous, but did such a great job!!

Treat Bags

Once a season Ashley has to bring "treat" bags for her softball team. After much deliberation, we decided to go with a safari theme. We found lots of little goodies for the girls and were so excited what they ended up looking like. A friend of mine from school wrote the poem that we plan on attaching to each of the bags. Thanks so much Leigh!! Ashley will pass them out before the Wakeland/Frisco game on Friday, April 1st.

An Evening of Relaxation

We spent the evening at Grandma & Grandpa's eating dinner, relaxing in the hot tub and making SMORES! A perfect ending to Spring Break!!

A New Fence!!

Mike, Dean and Dylan spent the majority of Spring Break building a new fence for our yard. The fence was very much needed! :) They have worked so hard and it is coming together so nicely. Can't wait until it is completely finished! I will continue to post pictures until the project is complete.
