Homecoming Dance

Tonight was the Wakeland H.S. Homecoming Dance. Ashley went with a group of friends this year (Nick, Zach, Preston, Dallas, Taylor, Devon and Madison). Everyone met at our house at 6:30 for pictures. They then went to Matito's (Mexican) at Frisco Square for dinner and then to the Fieldhouse where the dance is being held this year. They were all super excited and all looked so nice. Hoping they have a wonderful evening!

Megan's 6th Birthday!

Megan Michelle is 6 today!! She was so excited about her birthday this year I can't even begin to tell you. As always our day was jam packed, but we found time to celebrate! We started our morning off with a trip to the donut shop. She brought cupcakes to school to share with her class. Grandpa picked her up from school because Mom had a long staff meeting so she was spoiled by Grandpa for awhile. Megan got to choose where she wanted for dinner...of course she chose McDonald's! After dinner we headed to Ashley's softball games and then finally back to Grandpa's for cake and ice cream. Grandpa actually picked out and ordered Megan's cake for her. SHE LOVED IT!! Thanks Dean!! As always, Megan was spoiled rotten and loved all of her gifts. Thank you very much to all of you.

Soccer Season Begins

After the cancellation of the first two games of the season due to rain...Megan's soccer season finally began! She was so excited to get back out on the field with her friends. She scored the first goal of the season for the Dragonflies and ended the game with a total of 5 GOALS!! She was on fire!

Wakeland HS Homecoming 2009

Ashley is going to Homecoming with a group of her friends this year. She is super excited! The Homecoming game is Friday, September 18th, but the dance will not be until September 26th.

Ashley decided she wanted to make her own Homecoming Mum and t-shirt for the game this year. I was a bit nervous about her trying to make a mum like that, but leave it to Ashley and her creativeness to make a beautiful mum. We had an absolute BLAST working on it together. She can't wait to wear it. She even made her Daddy an arm band to wear and show his school pride! Talk about bringing back old memories. My mums hung on my wall throughout my four years of HS. The entire family attended the Homecoming game which was loads of fun!

Megan's 1st Baby Tooth

Megan finally lost her 1st baby tooth. It had been lose for weeks and was just hanging on. She finally let Mommy "pull" it for her. She was such a big girl and she looks so cute with it gone!! The Tooth Fairy came and made a visit to her special pillow. She left her 8 quarters!! Megan was so excited. Our baby is growing up way too fast!!

Popsicles in the Park

Boals Elementary hosted the 1st Annual Popsicles in the Park for all Kindergarteners! Megan had a blast eating her popsicle and playing with some of her new friends. It was a great opportunity for all of the parents to visit as well.
