We wanted to do one last special something for the kids before beginning the school year. We tried the circus, but of course waited to long to purchase tickets and they were sold out of the "cheap" seats." We moved on to Mike's plan B - which was, in the long run a much better choice! We drove to Ennis, TX (about an hour South of Frisco) and went to a Drive-In Theater! Oh my goodness, what fun! Mike used to go when he was younger, but none of the rest of us had ever been. We got there early so the kids had time to play miniature golf and roam around the area. We visited the Snack Shop, got some yummy popcorn and treats and then watched the double feature of G-Force and The Proposal. It was a BLAST! We headed for home about 12:45 and as you will see in the picture - the kids all crashed! Highly recommend anyone in the area going at least once. Something totally different!
