After being in Texas for over six years now, we finally had the opportunity to go to the State Fair held at Fair Park in Dallas. We had an unbelievable time! Our school district gave a ticket to each student and teacher so we ALL got in free to the fair...wish everything would have been free!! :) We enjoyed a few rides, played some games, ate some great "fair" food - tornado taters, corn dogs, funnel cakes and caramel apples, went to see Dinosaurs at the IMAX theater, went to the car show, and the BEST part was when Ashley & Dylan both competed against 8 other people in the NBA Basketball Free-Throw Contest. Ashley and Dylan were the two finalist and guess what...DYLAN beat Ashley!! Ashley told us she "let" Dylan beat her, but WE ALL KNOW BETTER THAN THAT!! A great family day!!
