WOW...where has the time gone!?!? Our "baby" turned 16 today!! We are having a hard time grasping the concept that she is 16 and will be a Junior in High School. It truly seems like just yesterday that this tiny 6 lb. 3 oz/19 inch baby girl was placed in our arms. Time passes so quickly!! What an amazing 16 years it has been!!
We had a wonderful evening of celebration. We went to dinner with Grandma & Grandpa and Nick, Daphne & Tim Hallman. We had dinner at Ashley's favorite restaurant-Jinbey. Boy was it good!! We then headed back home for an ice cream cake and opening presents. Everyone spoiled Ashley - thank you!! Nick took the prize for most creative. :) He gave her a huge bag full of 16 different gifts. They were all wrapped so cute and each one had a numbered tag 1-16!! Each gift was one of Ashley's favorite's!! It was so much fun to watch her open each gift!! We then headed over to the Hallman's to watch the Maverick's WIN the NBA Championship!! What an awesome end to a perfect day!!
