After the Family Reunion we went to Houston to spend some time with Nana, Aunt Kimmie, Aunt Kate & the boys. It was a short trip, but we had a lot of fun spending time together. We spent Sunday driving to Chappell Hill and attenting the Scarecrow Festival. The kids enjoyed decorating pumpkins, eating corn dogs and fries and visiting all of the wonderful craft booths the festival had to offer. After that we headed back to Nana's & Aunt Kimmie had a special surprise for all her nieces and nephews. She bought a pinata for them!! What FUN they had!! Jake was the one who ended up breaking it and it was a fight for all of the candy! So neat to watch all of the kids scrammbling to fill their bags. As always, so many special memories when we travel to Houston!
