The girls have gone to the Daddy-Daughter dance since we moved to Frisco, but it has never worked out for Dylan and Mom to go to the Mother-Son Dance until this year. I was so honored that Dylan still wanted to go with his mom to a dance. Dylan and I got all dressed up in our red, white and blue because this years theme was Salute to America. He gave me a rose made from lego's and Mike took pictures of us. It was then time to head out for a night on the town. Our first stop was dinner at Jinbeh - a Japanese Steakhouse. As our children call it...Cook In The Middle! It was delicious. Then off to the Cupcakery to get dessert for after the dance. We arrived at the dance, had our pictures made, visited with some friends and danced the night away. HOW SWEET it was!! After the dance we came home and enjoyed our cupcakes by candlelight. I had Raspberry with Champagne Icing and Dylan had an all Chocolate cupcake. So good!! What an unbelievable evening with my son and so many memories. He is going to make a girl very happy one day.
