Towne Lake Park - McKinney

While Ashley was at softball practice we took Dylan and Megan to the park for the afternoon. We all went out on a paddleboat and paddled around the lake. It was much harder than we thought it would be!! After that the kids had a blast feeding the ducks and running around. It was a very enjoyable Sunday afternoon.

Lego Obsession!

We have decided that Dylan is either going to be an architect or an engineer when he grows up. He is obsessed with Lego's and wants to do nothing else but create with them. Among his many creations are his latest "word art".

8th Grade Volleyball

Ashley is playing volleyball again this year for Staley Middle School. She loves it!! I have a hard time getting good pictures in the gym with my camera, but hopefully by the end of the season I can get a few good ones. These pictures are from her first home game! Ashley made the "SMS is the Best" banner and it is hanging in the gym.

Megan's 5th Birthday!

We had a small family celebration for Megan's 5th birthday. Grandpa came over late that night and we sang Happy Birthday, ate cupcakes and Megan opened her presents. Thank you everyone for all the phone calls, cards and gifts making Megan's day so very special for her.

A Soccer Birthday

We spent the evening of Megan's birthday at soccer practice. She really enjoyed sharing her cupcakes, but more importantly she enjoyed telling her team that see made them all by herself! They were all so sweet and sang her Happy Birthday and gave her lots of hugs!

Pink Cupcakes

Megan had soccer practice the night of her birthday and wanted to make "pink" cupcakes for her friends. She not only wanted to bring the cupcakes she wanted to make them herself. We went shopping and she picked everything out herself. Once we had everything we needed - the FUN began!! She actually did a very good job. Maybe she is going to follow in her Aunt Kimmie's footsteps! :)
