Our 15th Anniversary!!

Mike & Kristen celebrated their 15th Wedding Anniversary on July 2nd this year. To celebrate we went on a cruise with Lori & Greg Stowe - friends of ours from South Carolina who were celebrating their 10th Anniversary. Lori & I planned this back when I went to visit her last October. We went on a 7 day cruise on the Carnvival Conquest that set sail from Galveston. We visited Jamaica, the Grand Caymens and Cozumel. The highlights of the trip included beautiful flowers in our cabin upon arrival. Thank you Mom & Kim for thinking of all of us! They were so pretty and smelled so good! We went swimming with the Dolphins & Sting Rays in the Grand Caymens. Amazing!! Lori and I also participated in "On Deck for the Cure" that raises money for breast cancer. We walked 10 laps and Lori led the way as a SURVIVOR!! I love you Lori!! On our last night together Mike was full of surprises and soooo sweet!! He gave both Lori and I photo albums filled with pictures from our trip! What a super surprise!! We were all lucky enough to be able to attend this trip thanks to our wonderful families who took super care of all of our kiddos so we could enjoy the week together. I can not begin to tell you how much fun we had. It was an unbelievable week with so many memories that we will all cherish for a lifetime.

Dylan's Golf Tournament

Dylan has spent his Friday's this summer playing in local junior golf tournaments around the DFW area. These tournaments are hosted by the North Texas Jr. PGA. Each junior golfer gets one person to walk with them as their Caddie and Coach. Dad is a wonderful teacher! I was a spectator and enjoyed walking the course and watching Dylan play. So proud of him!
Dylan has been playing golf for about a year now and this is his first summer of actual tournaments. He has improved greatly and is enjoying the competition of the sport. This tournament was held at Stewart Peninsula in The Colony. He shot a 54 for 9 holes and tied his personal best in tournament play. Keep it up Dylan and one day, just maybe...we will see you on the PGA Tour!!
