Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

When we decided to extend our trip a day it made it possible for us to attend Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom from 7:00 pm to Midnight. We were treated to special Disney Christmas shows, parades and fireworks. It even snowed on Main Street! We were also given free hot chocolate and cookies throughout the park. What a special treat! The entire evening was magical and will be something we will always remember.

Disney's All Star Movie Resort

We extended our trip in Florida by one day this year. So after checking out of the resort, we spent some time at Down Town Disney again and then headed for a night's stay at Disney's All Star Movie Resort. It was fun to see the movies come to life as we walked around the hotel. We stayed in the Fantasia wing of the hotel. MAGICAL!!

Disney World - Epcot

Mike, Kristen, Dylan, Jon & Linda headed to Epcot for a couple of hours one evening. We enjoyed walking around and visiting the different countries. We heard wonderful Christmas carols being sung and the most spectacular light show. Dylan enjoyed a special treat of a gingerbread man cookie and hot chocolate which we purchased from a life size gingerbread house. Aunt Kimmie would have loved it!!

Disney World - Animal Kingdom

The majority of Friday was spent at Animal Kingdom. We had a fabulous fun-filled day! Again, we rode lots of rides, saw many cool shows, came up close and personal to many different types of animals and watched a very unique parade in which we got to march with. The highlight of the day however was when Jon and I rode Expedition Everest! I have never been so scared in my life, but have never had as much fun either. I think I killed Jon's hand/arm while on the ride. I did it though - conquered one of those fears of mine and can actually say that I SURVIVED EVEREST!! Now, will I do it again?? We will have to wait and see!!! :)
