Easter EGGstravaganza

Crazy or not, I took Dylan & Megan to the Annual Frisco Easter EGGstravaganza! The crazy part was that it was 25 degrees out with the wind chill. It was FREEZING! However, there were 60,000 eggs, lots of candy, face painting, Peter Cottontail himself and the best part was that there were very few participants and no lines! It was cold, but it was fun! This will be one egg hunt that will be talked about for years to come! :)

New Braunfels, TX

Ashley had her first softball tournament of the year in New Braunfels. What a weekend we had! It was a very relaxing weekend full of softball and good friends. The team played well finishing 9th out of 30 teams in their first year of 14U-A softball. We ate outdoors at a wonderful restaurant called the Gristmill enjoying the beautiful weather and good conversation with friends. The only downside of the trip was the 7 hour drive home in stop and go traffic! I think many people enjoyed their Spring Break in New Braunfels and San Antonio!!

Katy, TX - Spring Break

Our week of Spring Break brought much excitement and many different adventures. Dylan left for the entire week with Grandpa & Grandma on a trip to FL and TN. They enjoyed swimming, golfing, Downtown Disney and the Lego Store, a trip to Epcot and a night at the Grand Ole Opry. He also found a new favorite restaurant as well - Golden Corral! He loved spending one on one time with them and will always remember this special trip. I know Grandpa & Grandma took pictures so when I get them I will update this entry to share them with everyone. Ashley stayed in Frisco with her Daddy, softball team and friends. She enjoyed relaxing and having some alone time. Megan and Mommy decided to take a few days and visit Nanna Bebby, Nana, Papa and Aunt Kimmie in Katy. You can only imagine how spoiled Megan was after 4 days of being treated like a QUEEN. We had a wonderful time. As always, it went by way too fast and saying good-bye has never been easy on me!

National Junior Honor Society

As President of The National Junior Honor Society this year, Ashley held the honor of being the Master of Ceremony this evening. She presented 13 new members into the organization. She did a wonderful job and we could not be more proud of her!

Chef Dyl'ion!

Well, Dylan (Chef Dyl'ion as he likes to be called!) has decided that he wants to become a professional CHEF! He has taken it upon himself to check out cookbooks and find different recipes online. So far, he has made scrambled eggs, french toast and today he made and decorated a chocolate on chocolate Teddy Bear cake. So far, everything he has made has been wonderful! He has also been very good about cleaning up after he cooks. He will make a GREAT husband one day.
